Myrtle Beach

Let me tell you, I am NOT a beach fan. Never have been...too windy, too crowded, too wet!

But after my recent trip to Myrtle Beach, SC, I'm converted! After seeing the joy it brought to my kids' faces, I decided it was my favorite place to be.

Seriously! How could you not have fun with these two? It's one of Joe's favorite places too.

Any idea where she gets her craziness from?

I see a lot of beach trips in our future!

Sigh

It makes me sad to look at my last blog posts. How our lives have changed since then. It's so interesting how you think you're on a very specific path in life, but God has other plans.

Since my last post we've moved across the country from California to Maryland, waiting to see where God sends us next. It's a difficult wait, but we've been blessed to stay with some wonderful family.

It's been 8 months since my last post, and my sweet baby girl is now 18 months old! Seriously, how gorgeous is this girl? She's still super duper fun with loads of personality. She loves shoes, jewelry and is always in the midst of a tea party!

Happy 10 months Finley Grace!

My Sweet Baby Girl is 10 months old today! Finley is such a joy in our lives. Her smile and bright eyes can seriously light up a room.

Finley is a champion crawler, and cruises the furniture to get around the room. She's even stood unassisted a handful of times. She likes to clap, wave, and has just started to point!

She LOVES her brother and dad, and thinks they're hilarious! She is such a fun girl.

Henry is Three!

My Sweet Henry is now 3 years old. I can't say that I like it. He's getting so big. He is such a unique kid. He has the best imagination. He LOVES music and cooking. We just took him to Williams-Sonoma and watched his eyes grow big with every cooking gadget.

We had his birthday party in our backyard. All he wanted was "a jumpy house, cake, and a cello". So we made sure we met his requests!

He even helped make his own birthday cake!

Our First Sale!

We did it! We made our first sale! And what did we sell? A Jamaican mug that Joe picked out. When he showed it to me, I told him to get it, but only because I didn't want to hurt his feelings. Who knew it would be our hot ticket item? The Joe did!

Speaking of our store, I just LOVE this vintage recipe box. I got it an Estate sale and think it would look just perfect in a vintage kitchen! I'm half-tempted to keep it, but then again, I want to keep everything I find!

I'm off to bed so I can get up early for more treasure hunting!

Garage Sale!

I decided I was going to start selling vintage treasures I found on etsy. How hard could it be? I have great taste and love vintage things. Well, it's a little harder than I thought! I went to 10 garage sales today and didn't find one thing. I was so disappointed, but I'm not giving up! I think I'll hit the thrift store this afternoon.

The best part of the day was spending it with my garage sale buddy. Now tell me this isn't the cutest guy you've ever seen?
